OpenWorld News is looking for a freelance Junior Reporter/Researcher.
We supply data-driven investigations to the biggest titles on Fleet Street, and are now branching into the realm of TV documentaries. We need hungry junior reporters to work across all our projects. The right person will have a naturally inquiring mind and not be afraid of an Excel spreadsheet. An eye for detail is a must.
So you know, this role will not involve any foreign travel, TV production or front-of-camera work. Instead, we’re looking for someone who can prove their worth at investigative, data-driven journalism, with previous experience of news writing.
Our office is situated just off Brick Lane in the heart of London’s Shoreditch.
How to apply:
E-mail your CV and a brief covering letter setting out your interest in the role to firstname.lastname@example.org. We’re keeping our recruitment advert up until Feb 25, 2013, but prefer applications sooner rather than later.
Day-rates are competitive. This is a freelance role.
PLEASE NOTE: Due to the number of applications we’ve received unfortunately we won’t be able to reply to each one.
We’ll let you know if we want to see you for interview.
We’d also like to thank all those who have applied – we really appreciate the time you’ve taken to get in touch.
Many thanks – and good luck!
