12-year-old schoolgirl shot by police with 50,000-volt Taser stun gun

OpenWorld News has today revealed that police in Merseyside have shot a 12-year-old schoolgirl with a 50,000-volt Taser stun gun.

The girl is one of more than 20 young children hit with the weapons.

Our investigation provided exclusively to the Sunday Mirror comes as Tasers are being increasingly handed to British police officers patrolling our streets after as little as just four days training.

Independent advice to the Home Office has also raised concerns that children and smaller adults can be vulnerable to heart problems if tasered.
